After-School

Our Title-III tutoring program is intended to ensure that children and youth who are ELLs (English Language Learners) develop high levels of academic achievement and proficiency in the English language.  The program is designed to help students make strides towards the challenging State academic standards!

Throughout the school year, our school offers tutoring to grades K-5 Wednesdays & Fridays. Our tutoring programs are conducted in small group sessions where teachers provide homework assistance and intervention.

On Saturdays we have opened our school to offer our community support in academics. We believe that every day is an opportunity to learn and grow and want to provide students with that opportunity with a Saturday Academic Program.

We offer an after-school seasonal CO-ED soccer and basketball teams for all students in grades 3-5 to engage in sports! These leagues were created the to help students gain exposure to sports and build their sportsmanship and leadership skills!

During our school-break times we offer intervention & tutoring sessions to all grades to provide multiple access points to learning and student lead growth!

  The mission of Community Association of Progressive Dominicans (ACDP) is to promote and develop the physical, emotional, social and economic well-being of the residents of Upper Manhattan, the Bronx, and New York City by facilitating community empowerment through education, provision of human services, and the development of individual skills and community leadership.
